I started a GLP-1 in the summer of 2024. Over the next fourteen months I lost about 40 pounds. I am not an influencer. I have no clinical letters after my name. I am a guy who was, honestly, tired of being tired.
What actually happened
The scale moved almost immediately. So did my energy, my strength, and eventually my hair. Nobody warned me about any of that. My doctor prescribed the medication, gave me two paragraphs on nausea, and sent me on my way.
By month three I was reading everything I could find. Peer-reviewed studies, sub-reddits, sports-nutrition podcasts, forums for cancer patients on cachexia protocols. It turns out the underlying problem of losing weight rapidly while losing muscle, minerals, and micronutrients is not new. It is just newly common.
The counter full of bottles
By month six my kitchen counter had: creatine, collagen, an electrolyte packet, a B-complex, D3, K2, magnesium, a fiber that gave me gas, and a whey isolate that would not sit right. Nine items. Some worked. Some were probably filler. All of them added friction to a life where appetite was the first thing to go.
I kept thinking: this should be one thing. Just the ingredients that actually have research behind them, at the doses the studies use, in one scoop. No filler, no proprietary blends, no marketing language. Show me the panel and let me decide.
So I made it
Daily Foundation is the product I wish had existed when I started. Creatine at 5 g. HMB at a full 3 g, not a sprinkle. 25 g whey isolate. Hydrolyzed collagen. Low-bloat PHGG fiber. A real electrolyte load. D3 with K2 in a form your body can actually use. Methylated B-vitamins. Lactase for easy digestion. Every gram on the label.
It is built around protein because protein is the hardest target to hit on a suppressed appetite. Everything else the research supports for a GLP-1 journey is in the scoop, so you have one thing to think about at mealtime instead of ten.
This blog exists to tell the truth
The Research is where I show the receipts. Every ingredient is here because a peer-reviewed study supports it, and every claim links back to that study. If the evidence changes, so will the formula.
